Ethical relationship

An ethical relationship is conditional on some ethical code. It can be one-way, that is, only one party in the relationship need practice the code, if they are in an unequal power relationship. However, to apply stricter theory of conduct to the party with less power is the basis of Gandhi's satyagraha and other civil disobedience methods, which are designed in part to build power and solidarity among resisters, and prove that they are more capable of actually managing the potential violence in the community as a whole.

Trolls, for instance, refuse unlike the sysop power structures they resist, to engage in outing, vandalism, lying and other forms of abuse. Instead they point out sysop vandalism, dispel echo chamber lies, point out libel pit offenses, and object eloquently to sysop vigilantiism and systemic bias such as EPOV or over-belief in hierarchy or under-belief in consensus decision making, or just stupid wiki ideology such as neutral point of view or virtual community.
