Articles in the Consumerium:-namespace are in the here in The Development Wiki just to draft, refine, argue, thesis, anti-thesis, synthesis, argue again etc.

Consumerium:Policies, guidelines and instructions etc. will eventually after enough work will be moved to "the implementation wiki" where the [[Consumerium:]]-namespace is the normative source of how to run the day to day operations and deal with problems.

When and only when we feel they are complete and concise enough to guide the operation of the implementation wiki that wiki will be set up and articles such as this will be moved over there and be normative for that wiki.

The normative namespace for how to conduct business here in this wiki is "Consudev:" and the only normative articles in that namespace are Rules, Guidelines and What Consumerium RD Wiki is not

No services (as opposed to products) will be evaluatedEdit

Consumerium:Itself will not accept, keep or distribute information regarding services, only products and companies and how the companies conduct their business. This is because as you might remember from your marketing 101 services are intanglible (often) (service and it's delivery cannot be separated, as in product and logistics) and perishable (often) and unreproducable therefore complaints (read: sockpuppeteering and such)/praise (read: sockpuppeteering and such) cannot be verified. If someone solves how this could be done without reviving w:STASI, but this time making it global, omnipresent, funded etc.

  • eg. service in restaurants will not be reviewed though the sourcing networks and policies of restaurants and restaurant chains may be campaigned upon.
  • Some services may be exempt from this policy if someone reasons how all the unverifiable crap can be kept out. Like for example, if a hair dresser completely screws up your hair-do that can be verified (receipt + before and after photos should suffice)

People in prominent business positions may be merit for an article, but no man-hunts 'n smear campaignsEdit

Persons in prominent positions in companies may merit an article (but usually only if they are involved in many different companies/businesses in such a way that it can be essential to understand and stop life destroying cycles and enhancing other cycles

  • Their personal life however is private and the articles in Consumerium, proper will only deal with their business and financing ties and the actions companies performed while they were in charge.

Other stuffEdit

our mighty troll has suggested that we use a lot of namespaces, but I doubt that'll ever happen. For now:

  • "Consudev:" is the project namespace for Consumerium development effort
  • "Consumerium:" will be the normative namespace for the implementation wiki
