A liability horizon is a factionally defined time horizon similar to a statute of limitations in law or archive destruction rule in an audit. It is usually imposed with a liability border to define the spacetime limit over which liability can be imposed by that faction.
Typical horizons and advocates include:
- seventh generation advocated by Greens
- living memory advocated by Reds and Pinks
- statute of limitations advocated by Blues
