Cyberterror is a propaganda phrase that should be avoided. Use the more specific terms denial of service attack, vandalism, vandalbot, spoof, trolling, heroic trolling, magnificent trolling, spam, virus or worm. Trying to claim that any of these forms of free speech or interference with commerce have anything to do with real live body-damaging terrorism is extremely offensive to actual victims of it. Sadly, some sysop power structure fanatics use words to describe opinions they don't like as if they were equivalent to planting bombs or something, and invent spun threats to justify censorship and such.

Another example of bogus cyberterror claims being used to justify an immense and wasteful and destructive expense was the infamous Y2K fraud.
