A capital asset is an asset that is useful to produce services, i.e. the production of another asset. See service economy for more on the ways in which such assets combine, or are classified functionally, and see styles of capital for the ways in which they are classified for maintenance.

A very general model of capital asset management and management accounting makes it possible to generalize command verbs such as fix.
