I guess the rational approach to figuring the '''syntax''' for articles would be to go over the [[features]] and see how they could be expressed in [[Wiki]] without losing the possibility to do automated assesments over several articles to provide statistics. Sure there can be conventions on general wording. Example:
    #REDIRECT [[wiki content]]
    <nowiki>Product [[Product:Product Y|]] identified by [[GTIN:SomeGTINString|]]
belongs to groups [[ProductGroup:A|]] and [[ProductGroup:B|]] and
    is produced by [[Company:Company X|]]</nowiki> <br>
and so forth but the problem arising is how this scales with the goal of Consumerium functioning in all major languages.

Also [[ConsuML]] development should not cease totally, but be more of an compliment to the Wiki front.

I wonder how could it be possible to sort of "melt" together Wiki and XML systems so that the Wiki provides ease of editing and the XML provides rigidness and longevity. I have nothing concrete on this issue but I'll keep on thinking about it

:Just came to my mind that a hybrid model where part of the article is generated from [[ConsuML]] data and the rest is pure wiki might be the most robust solution for content.
