Information
Emissions of the textile industry are larger than the airline and maritime traffic combined. (slides)
The average utilization time of clothing in 2019 is one third less than in 2000. Clothes are used on average 160 times. The CO2 emissions of the textile industry would fall 44% by doubling the utilization time. (slides)
