Ecological wisdom
Ecological wisdom is one of the Six Principles all Greens share.
"Laws of Ecology: (1) Everything is connected to everything else. (2) Everything must go somewhere. (3) Nature knows best. (4) There is no such thing as a free lunch." - w:Barry Commoner
"Ecology can help us understand the relationships among different parts of a system, whether an old-growth forest or our own society. When we view the many problems facing our society today through an ecological lens, we can see that many of them are related. Like branches of a tree, they have common roots." - [1]
"Under all is the land. Upon its wise utilization and widely allocated ownership depend the survival and growth of free institutions and of our civilization." -- From the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the National Association of Realtors
