Hmm some would claim that there is also a science of trolling, that is, that probing the sysop power structure to reveal its weak points, hypocrisies, inconsistencies and lies, and compiling this information for coordinated attack later, is part of trolling.

The "art" part is more the way that troll culture is formed on a large public wiki by the collaboration to make fun of sysops, like any other political satire probably.
