Business Social Compliance Initiative

An initiative by european retail companies (and associations) similar in nature to SA8000 but relies on self-audit more then external certification (see here for a diagram of how BSCI works). Less paperwork and lower cost for manufacturer (contrast the ~10.000$ of a SA8000 certificate.)
