* If someone else is wondering about a few edits happening which '''show a difference of few bytes negative''' in the '''Recent Changes''', but when you click the '''diff it says that there is no difference''': I was naturally worried when I saw the first occurrence of this and asked around in #mediawiki and the explanation is that around [[Mediawiki]] version 1.10 the line termination characters were reformed and thus these weird edits can happen when someone edits an article in a way that replaces the old line termination character with the new, shorter, ones and then Recent Changes sees a difference in the size, but the diff does not look at '''<u>how</u> the lines are terminated''' and concludes that nothing has been changed. - If someone else is wondering about a few edits happening which show a difference of few bytes negative in the Recent Changes, but when you click the diff it says that there is no difference: I was naturally worried when I saw the first occurrence of this and asked around in #mediawiki and the explanation is that around Mediawiki version 1.10 the line termination characters were reformed and thus these weird edits can happen when someone edits an article in a way that replaces the old line termination character with the new, shorter, ones and then Recent Changes sees a difference in the size, but the diff does not look at how the lines are terminated and concludes that nothing has been changed. - I'm soon going to set up ssh agent forwarding as explained very clearly here. This allows for fully automated backupping procedures that can be run regularly by a cronjob on my local machine if I also set up keychain while avoiding the perils of having non-passphrase-protected keys on any servers. - Added a favicon.ico for https://consumerium.org and https://kuluttajisto.consumerium.org and made, verified and distributed backups. Jukeboksi (talk) 17:03, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

- Facebook did not originally grant a short handle for Consumerium.org, but today it offered the possibility to create one, so now the Facebook page can be found with an easy to remember URL https://www.facebook.com/ConsumeriumORG/ Jukeboksi (talk) 14:23, 2 March 2019 (UTC)

- Upgraded this wiki and the Test wiki (the only 2 members of a wiki family) to the latest stable Mediawiki (Release notes for 1.32). There was some trouble when upgrading the test wiki with 'php update.php --wiki=testwiki' exited with an error stating that the updater tried to update the wrong database (!), but after banging my head at the keyboard for a while I figured out this may be due to the test wiki sharing some tables from this development wiki and that indeed was the case. After I commented out the shared tables in LocalSettings.php the upgrade run just fine. Jukeboksi (talk) 21:21, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
- Upgraded my semi-private study wiki to latest stable Mediawiki (1.32.0) and now proceeding to do the same for this development wiki. Downtime of maximum of few minutes expected. Jukeboksi (talk) 18:53, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
- Extensions of Wordpressen at https://consumerium.org and https://kuluttajisto.consumerium.org updated. Jukeboksi (talk) 13:05, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
- Apologies for the fact that the email sending system
is broken. Probably due to that it uses encrypted connection to the SMTP-server with authentication and I (probably) changed the password and forgot to update it in LocalSettings.php. I will work to fix this issue today. Jukeboksi (talk) 12:44, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
