If you read the article through you propably noticed that I've dreamed up this simplification where a package "knows" when you touch it with your cell phone/pda/whateveryoureusing and then has the ability to tell it's identity to the machine that touches it. Perhaps the packages could have some sort of reusable and recodeable identification sticker attached to it that is then perhaps removed and reused at the cashier. Why not even an enclosing shell such as is used on CDs everywhere. I don't know and i really don't have the energy to care how product identification is done in ten or twenty years. No-one is paying me to do it.
And I know this idea can be seen as "an attempt to systematize begging on a global scale", but I think it's still an interesting idea.Juxo 19:20, 6 Nov 2003 (EET)
