GPRS stands for General Packet Radio System. Most GSM network equipment can be software upgraded to provide GPRS service.

Delivery of Consumerium services over GPRS networks using preferably XHTML and maybe even WAP for UI might be one alternative, though QoS won't be even close to dedicated Bluetooth access.
