The social capital of Consumerium is the trust people have in it, and those who devote their free time (individual capital) and reputations to it. It substitutes for financial capital to the degree that less money is required if trust is high enough to attract volunteers. It also substitutes for instructional capital to the degree trust makes complex and sabotage-proof instructions unnecessary. It can even substitute for infrastructural capital if equipment is offered to the project by those who trust it. Perhaps we will even get natural capital (land) if we are trusted enough, and become the Nation of Consumerium.
