Swipe the barcode

To swipe the barcode successfully to receive the correct Consumerium buying signal, several things must be working well:

• the scanner must be powered by its battery
• the scanner's laser diode must be working
• the diode must be moved across the barcode

These are the most basic end user issues we have to resolve here.
