The Python progamming language has several advantages for Consumerium Services:
- it originated as part of the Amoeba OS by Andy Tannenbaum, and so was designed to deal with distributed systems problems from day one.
- high quality wiki code, MoinMoinWiki, already exists in Python - this wiki is easily extensible in Python to support data format parsers, e.g. for GFDL text corpus rescue from poorly run projects.
- a fanatic corps of developers much smarter than average run of the mill mediocre developers.
- it runs on at least some Nokia phones, including the S60 - see the pictures and
