    Today I updated the MediaWiki to 1.3.11 (the latest in the 1.3.X-branch. I also rebuilt all the indices I could find, but that didn't help with the Searching problem. Passwords have been chnaged but due to the policy of our current host that all Apaches run under the same UID/GID it's possible that some other user could snoop the new password for MySQL.

    But before we move to a dedicated host it is not certain that no-one is tampering with the MySQL.
