Natural capital is an economic view of ecosystem health. Healthy natural capital has high ecological yield measured as raw resources for resource extraction, hopefully sustainable, or as nature's servicers. The service approach is drastically more useful than the resource approach, and this is how it should be looked at here, as a service ecology.

See styles of capital for more analysis.
