Macroeconomics for purposes of Consumerium Services must be defined as "anything economic which involves more than one ecoregion in its comprehensive outcome." It is necessarily more formal than smaller-scale microeconomics, if only because one must deal with macro-issues in the abstract and must rely on numbers to reduce them to something comprehensible.

Friedrich Hayek had stern warnings for anyone using these numbers for what they are not good for: the whole history of GDP is a history of defying his advice, with horrible consequences creating massive world poverty today.
