Limited liability and corporate personhood together give a corporation all the rights of a person but none of the vulnerabilities.
Many people think this is a very bad idea that leads to fraud and off-loading social liability and ecological liability onto the public.
The comprehensive outcome view is that there is really no such thing as limits on liability for moral choice, so there can be none on economic choice.
