Seems like a sane article, but there isn't a a system that is run without other people/systems holding more power then others. Take an classical example: The democratic process. In theory it is about all the people having equal right to use power but in practice those holding power in media can affect the light in which all of the candidates are seen thus having a larger impact on the result then just any person.
- True. Chomsky and Herman wrote about this a lot, about how propaganda was required to hold the idea of democracy itself together. So the question of "who gets the last edit" is even more important, isn't it, in this view?
