Sticking to what we know, perhaps best practices should be outlined as those of a troll-friendly large public wiki, while worst practices are of course those of the Wikimedia Board of Trustees and of Bomis in their mismanagement of Wikipedia and their policy of (worst) wiki governance by pure sysop vandalism (damage something until the people who actually care about it, go away!)
