A trolls nest is where trolls plan responses to sysop vandalism, and other forms of troll vandalism.

It is expected to become a major issue for the Consumerium Governance Organization, as it has already for Wikimedia. Prominent nests are rare as they are usually secretive. Only fanatical POV warriors seem to reveal their nests:

    rare visible example

For instance, the highly publicized wikipediasucks.com is where pro-SOLLOG vandals openly plan group vandalism against Wikipedia and its controller Bomis.

Opinions vary on the righteousness of this response to the many Wikimedia abuses. It is not clear whether this is troll vandalism or sysop vandalism since technological escalation is involved.

In any case the technology and trolling techniques are the same, regardless of the rationale for this response or the level of secrecy.

    mostly secret

Most trolls' nests are not so visible or overt in what they do, and exist as private webs and intranet services. For instance transnational corporations employ funded trolls or "spin doctors" to spout propaganda into the large public wikis to counter trollish truth-telling.
