To fork off is to create a new forum with the content of the original. See self-interested fork problem, bad copy problem and Wikipedia.
It is also used as an invitation to get lost: fork off! In large public wikis, "fork off" is an insult that invites someone to create one, because they are too stupid or hard to satisfy. Trolls are usually invited to "fork off" by sysops.
