See [[w:Wikipedia:troll bridge]] for a basic definition. A troll bridge is a more objective or less contentious article or concept or topic that quarrelling [[trolls]] can agree to work on and come to consensus about (and thus "bridge" their differences) before moving on to other more contentious matters. The more ornery trolls can be enticed with the potential to utter more nastiness and threats, and then surprised that everyone else is cooperating given lack of an issue to truly disagree on. Finding such an article is one way to help [[users in conflict]] to resolve issues. It is a pretty basic requirement in [[Wiki Management]] especially on a [[large public wiki]].
