An intermediate page is the page that exists in Research Wiki in its editable form before it is released to the public via Publish Wiki. From there it is converted into a variety of media that will munge the page into its final form per medium (i.e. a WAP page looks different from an XML from an HTML page). The term intermediate page is adopted from Metaweb where they are working on very capable software to do this work. What should be taken into consideration when desiging these are protocol requirements and other features of Consumerium Services. See Consumerium:intermediate page. At present we consider four such pages: *commodity page *product pages *channel page, i.e retailer *company page *country page *region page *barcode page -> these will be redirects to product pages or company pages depending on what the barcode represents. (also GLN and perhaps SSCC should later on made to direct to Location and Serial Shipment respectifully)
