Social network software is social software that claims to support social network formation, which in turn develops some social economy.

See w:social network software for a general definition.

w:Homeland Security is rumoured to use social network software to track people it is afraid of, or simply does not like. Being in the wrong social network, e.g. the w:Green Party of the United States, will get you on a no-fly list. Consumerium Governance Organization should be careful not to reveal social network information about its participants too readily or easily.
