A political movement, e.g. the anti-globalization movement, the Islamist movement, is a broader and more inclusive concept than a faction or party. No cooperation and certainly no operational contact is implied between those who share the same political goals, which typically include changes to property rights and power structures.

See w:political movement for a probably degraded EPOV "sysop power structure-approved" version.
