Pop psychiatry

Pop psychiatry is the invention of nonstandard, or the use of standard, psychiatric terms with superficial analysis. It often is amateur psychiatry (the actual attempt to diagnose someone's motives or problems with no qualifications). The term troll originated as a pop psychiatry term.
