New page

In troll culture, a troll song is the ideal way to document a procedure. This may have been inherited from ancient w:Celt culture, which modern trolls may identify with.

The same methods might work well to help Consumerium self-organize: to embed one's entire culture in songs and myths is a much more effective way to convey it to ordinary human beings, who have evolved with conceptual metaphors at the basis of the cultures, and probably can't learn easily without evocative imagery, rhythm, movement and fun.

There are no documented instances of people dancing to troll songs, but, it could happen. The science-fictional "Drummers" in Neal Stephenson's Diamond Age may be using these methods for documentation.

A list of troll songs will be assembled if this seems to be relevant.
