&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;This word seems to be the only one that captures the idea of a herd of trolls generally following one visible character around, who may or may not know or approve of their actions, but probably publicly declaims them.  It keeps the question of whether one is herding, being herded, or just part of a herd, open.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
