In terms used by [[Consumerium itself]], it is effectively is a &amp;quot;[[green light]]&amp;quot; for those persons who follow its guidelines.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
An active movement to define and standardize and certify ecolabels has been going on for at least eight years, in parallel to efforts like Consumerium.  It&amp;#039;s actually a tragedy that terminology was not standardized much earlier, so that these efforts could have found each other and coordinated better.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There are associations promoting ecolabels in most developed countries.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
