Blackberry

From Consumerium development wiki R&D Wiki

A Blackberry is a small worn device that is in wide use as a text email terminal. They are particularly popular in Washington, DC - in part because they continued to work well even when cell phone service was disrupted on September 11, 2001.

The Blackberry is an important social phenomena in some circles, and in some ways acts as a dating service. Because it is physically small and maybe replacing clumsier larger devices such as laptops, and becomes obsolete less quickly than a cell phone, it may well be an ideal and even stable terminal device for the healthy signal infrastructure.
